Jordan worked for 6 years in cross-border, middle-market investment banking, advising corporate and private equity clients on deals up to $250 million. He has worked across the globe, including China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Singapore, the UK and Vietnam. His job was to contact and convince buyers why they should make multi-million dollar investments. His clients included Cookson Plc, C.R. Bard, Ecolab, Francisco Partners, Genstar Capital, KKR, Marlin Equity and Platinum Equity.
After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Jordan worked in the Wealth Management division of Merrill Lynch.
On June 18, 2008, Jordan landed in Shanghai to pursue this dream of living in a foreign country. For 18 months he taught English, studied Mandarin Chinese, and traveled across Asia.
Jordan has traveled to 32 countries, is a 4th generation private pilot, SCUBA dives, played competitive golf across the southeast, and regularly trains Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He and his wife live and work in the New York Area.
